Application deadlines
Classes begin in the fall semester. These deadlines
apply to applicants for the Full-Time MBA Program only:
- International applicants: April 15
- Priority date for U.S. applicants: April 15
- Final date for U.S. applicants: July 30
Application procedures
You will send some application materials to Admissions and some to the Tippie School of Management.
Materials
to send to Admissions:
- One set of your official academic records/transcripts.
- Your
official GMAT score
report. Iowa's institutional code is 4RL-2J-98.
- International students must send their official TOEFL scores from Educational Testing Service (the University's institutional code is 6681).
- International students also must send a Financial Statement.
Materials
required by the Tippie School of Management:
- A cover
letter and résumé outlining your education, work experience,
and other activities.
- Two
essays (in response to questions on the application form).
- Three
MBA recommendation
forms
from individuals who can address your potential to succeed in the
MBA program and in business. Recommendation forms may be completed and submitted Online, or you may Download and Print*
the forms.
Apply
If you Apply Online, the $60 application fee ($85 for international students) is payable by MasterCard or Visa. If you cannot pay by credit card, you may Download and Print an Application* and pay the fee by check or money order in U.S. currency made payable to "The University of Iowa."
