Application deadlines
Classes begin in the fall semester. These deadlines
apply to applicants for the Full-Time MBA Program only:
- Priority date for international applicants: January 15
- International applicants: April 15
- Priority date for U.S. applicants: April 15
- Final date for U.S. applicants: July 30
Application procedures
Send some application materials to Admissions and some to the Tippie School of Management.
Materials to send to the Tippie School of Management:
- A cover
letter and résumé outlining your education, work experience,
and other activities
- Two
essays in response to questions in the online (and downloadable) application
- Three
MBA recommendation
forms
from individuals who can address your potential to succeed in the
MBA program and in business
Materials
to send to Admissions:
- A second set of your official academic records/transcripts
- Your
official GMAT score
report (Iowa's institutional code is 4RL-2J-98)
- International students must send their official TOEFL scores from the Educational Testing Service (the University's institutional code is 6681).
- Once recommended for admission, international students must send a Financial Statement.
Apply
If you Apply Online, the $60 application fee ($100 for international students) is payable by MasterCard or Visa. If you cannot pay by credit card, you may Download and Print an Application* and pay the fee by check or money order in U.S. currency made payable to "The University of Iowa."
