The
MS and the PhD in Occupational
and Environmental Health are awarded by the Graduate College. The
MS is offered with or without a thesis. The college also offers an MS-
and a PhD-subtrack in Industrial Hygiene and in Agricultural Safety and Health.

Application procedures
For this degree program, you will need to send some application materials to your academic department and some to the Office of Admissions, which handles Graduate College applications.
Materials to send to Admissions:
- One set of official academic records/transcripts. Send a second set directly to your department.
- Official GRE General Test scores from Educational Testing Service (the
University's institutional code is 6681).
- International students must send their official TOEFL scores from Educational Testing Service (the
University's institutional code is 6681).
- International students also must send a Financial Statement.
Materials required by the department:
- A second set of your official academic records/transcripts.
- Three (3) Letters of Recommendation.*
- A personal statement.
- A current résumé.
- A personal interview (PhD applicants only).
