Traveling by plane
The Iowa City/Coralville area is served by national and regional airlines flying into the Eastern Iowa Airport (CID) in Cedar Rapids (a 20-minute drive from campus), the Quad City International Airport (MLI), and the Des Moines International Airport (DSM).

Traveling by bus
Burlington Trailways, Greyhound, and Megabus provide ground transportation to Iowa City. The bus depot is right downtown near campus. Call the Iowa City depot at 319-337-2127 for more information. Ask about student discounts.

Places to stay
There are dozens of Places to Stay near campus during your visit, including the Iowa House Hotel, a University-owned hotel located in the Iowa Memorial Union. Also, check out the Special Hotel Rates for UI Visitors that University officials negotiated with several area hotels (rates not available for football or graduation weekends).
