Iowa LIVE! Program Schedule March 4-5, 2012
Sunday schedule
- Check-in between 3 and 4 p.m. at the Admission Visitors Center (located in the Pomerantz Center on Market Street).
- Our Welcome Reception will include remarks from top UI administrators and a bus tour of campus.
- Then we'll host an evening of fun activities before you settle into one of our residence halls for the night with current UI students.
Monday schedule
- We'll introduce you to a professor or an advisor in your academic area of interest.
- We'll wrap up the activities over lunch at Burge Market Place, a residence hall dining room.
- If you have additional time you can spend on campus, we will also have optional campus tours and additional departmental visits.
Food, lodging, and costs
We’ll cover the cost of your food and lodging during the program (dinner, breakfast, and lunch). We ask you to pay for your travel arrangements and any other expenses you might incur. Please do not make airline arrangements until you receive an email from us; we may be able to provide discounted airfare through a University-affiliated travel agent. Directions to Campus
Parents/Guardians
Parents are invited to attend the program, but some activities are designated for the prospective students only.
What to bring
As the program includes an overnight stay, bring a pillow, sleeping bag, clothes, and toiletries. Please bring your overnight items when you check in at the Admission Visitors Center on Sunday.
