Who is eligible for PSEO?
If you have a high school grade-point average (GPA) of 3.50 or higher, you may be eligible to take classes for college credit at The University of Iowa while still in high school. Under this program, your school district pays up to $250 of the tuition for each course you take.

Contact your school guidance counselor to see whether you are eligible to take courses through this program, called the Post-Secondary Enrollment Option (PSEO).

If you are PSEO eligible
Students who are eligible for PSEO should apply to The University of Iowa as a nondegree-seeking student. (When you are ready to apply for admission to the university in pursuit of an undergraduate degree, you should apply as a First-Year Student.)
