The environment of Iowa City, the wide range of opportunities—both curricular and extracurricular—and the friendly students and amazing faculty members on campus made the my decision to attend The University of Iowa easy.

I’m captain of the Iowa Mock Trial Club. My sophomore year we placed fourth in the nation, which was a pretty incredible experience. I’m also student body president, involved with the honors program, and in a fraternity. There are countless ways to get involved at Iowa, and so you can achieve whatever you want, whether it’s taking a leadership role or just meeting people with the same interests.
