I posted my résumé online through the career center’s Employment Expo. I got matched with GE, got an interview, and ended up getting the internship in Atlanta, Ga., last summer. The job sparked my interest in corporate finance and helped me see how the things I learned in my classes applied in the business world. The experience I got and connections I made have helped me get a job as a financial analyst in Chicago after I graduate next year.

Iowa’s challenging courses and emphasis on getting real-world experience through internships have prepared me for life after graduation.
