I chose Iowa because I was raised a Hawkeye, and even though I didn’t know what I wanted to major in, I knew it wouldn’t be hard to find the right fit after seeing the long list of possible majors.

I’m a resident assistant (RA) in Burge Hall. I’ve loved every minute of living in the residence halls because I’ve met a lot of new, really cool people. And as an RA, I’ve learned leadership skills and how to put together programming for a big group of people. As a health and sport studies major, that’s really helpful. I also love the Big Ten athletics scene here on campus because there’s always something going on.”
