Through its Opportunity at Iowa scholarship program, The University of Iowa granted me a full four-year academic scholarship. Although, at the time, my decision was based predominately on my financial situation, looking back, The University of Iowa was the right choice for me both academically and socially.

The University provided a strong academic foundation and the analytical skills and confidence to help me further my career, and throughout my academic career, Nancy Hauserman, an associate dean in the Tippie College of Business, provided amazing support, advice, and encouragement. To this day, she still inspires me to continue to strive for professional success and personal happiness.

After graduating from Iowa with a BBA in finance, Haney Keith graduated from Harvard Law School in 2003. She clerked for the Honorable Judith W. Rogers in the U.S. Court of Appeals after graduating from Harvard. She married Benjamin Keith in 2003 and now lives and works in Chicago.
