Attending
The University of Iowa was one of the best things that has happened
in my life. I am a native
of Chile and Peru and I hoped and wished one day to study in the United
States. When I received my acceptance letter
to the UI College of Nursing, I was very excited and I knew that I was
going to learn the nursing process from the best professors in the
country.
From the
very first day I felt welcomed and many professors helped me
with the transitional period from high school to college. Many of
them supported me through difficult times and they encouraged me to
never
give up. Thanks to many of them, I have been able to develop into the
nurse that I am today.
I
gained so much knowledge and experience at the College of Nursing.
I feel
that the college really prepared me to confront the 'real world.' |
