Undergraduate applications
Undergraduate bachelor's degrees available at Iowa include the BA, BS, BM, BFA, BBA, BSE, BSN, and BLS. Students applying to the College of Pharmacy will also find application information here.

• First-Year Students—Students who have not attended any other college or university (U.S. citizens and permanent residents)
  • International First-Year Students
• Transfer Students—Students who have attended another college or university (U.S. citizens and permanent residents)
  • International Transfer Students
• Returning Students—Former Iowa students who have been absent from the University for 12 months or longer and who wish to resume studies at Iowa
• Nondegree Students—Applicants who are not seeking a degree, and who plan to take only a limited number of courses on campus
• Current UI Students Changing Colleges—Current and former UI students changing colleges within The University of Iowa
