Undergraduate students who have been absent from the University for 12 months or longer and who wish to return must submit a returning student application.

  • Completed application materials must be received two weeks before classes open. Applications received after that date are considered on an individual basis.
• Pay the $20 application fee
  • Online applicants pay by credit card.
• Submit your transcripts
  • Returning students who have been enrolled in another college or university since leaving The University of Iowa are required to submit official transcripts from other institutions attended.
