- Business students pay $9,213 for residents ($27,435 for nonresidents); third- and fourth-year business students pay $10,515 for residents ($28,837 for nonresidents).
- Engineering students pay $8,268 for residents ($26,490 for nonresidents); second-year engineering students pay $9,306 ($27,536 for nonresidents); third- and fourth-year engineering students pay $10,414 for residents ($28,792 for nonresidents).
- Students in undergraduate medicine programs pay $7,879 for residents ($26,101 for nonresidents).
- Nursing students pay $10,367 for residents ($28,633 for nonresidents).

Costs are based on research conducted by the UI Office of Student Financial Aid for full-time undergraduate students (taking 12 or more semester hours of credit) during the fall and spring semesters. Tuition and Fees for Part-Time Students (enrolled for fewer than 12 semester hours of credit per semester) are assessed by the number of semester hours.
Billing
and payment information
At
the beginning of each semester (in August and January), you will receive
a University bill for the total contracted charges, which include tuition,
fees, room, and board.
