and fees vary for International Students, undergraduate students in medicine, and for students in business, engineering, nursing, and pharmacy:
- Business students pay $6,968 for residents ($22,342 for nonresidents); third- and fourth-year business students pay $8,530 for residents ($23,956 for nonresidents).
- Engineering students pay $7,018 for residents ($22,392 for nonresidents); third- and fourth-year engineering students pay $8,640 for residents ($24,112 for nonresidents).
- Nursing students and Medicine undergraduates pay $6,662 for residents; $22,036 for nonresidents.
- Pharmacy students pay $19,070 for residents; $34,526 for nonresidents.

Costs are based on research conducted by the UI Office of Student Financial Aid for full-time undergraduate students (taking 12 or more semester hours of credit) during the fall and spring semesters. Tuition and Fees for Part-Time Students (enrolled for fewer than 12 semester hours of credit per semester) are assessed by the number of semester hours.
Billing

At
the beginning of each semester (in August and January), you will receive
a University bill for the total contracted charges, which include tuition,
fees, room, and board.
