Financial aid opportunities
About 90 percent of students attending The University of Iowa receive some form of financial aid, including grants, loans, scholarships, and student employment. The UI Office of Student Financial Aid oversees many of these programs, and provides detailed information on the various types of aid available as well as consumer information.

At the beginning of each semester (in August and January), you will receive a University bill for the total contracted charges, which include tuition, fees, room, and board.
