some form of financial aid, including grants, loans, or
scholarships. The UI Office
of Student Financial Aid oversees many of these programs, and provides detailed information on the various types of
aid available as well as consumer information.
Scholarships
University of Iowa Scholarships are awarded based on the student's financial
need, academic merit, or both.
Student employment
Hundreds of University and community employers advertise openings online through the University Jobnet web site. Work-Study Employment may be awarded to qualifying students as determined by the UI Office of Student Financial Aid.
