The University of Iowa Honors Program welcomes outstanding students who want to enrich their college experience with engaging course work, experiences, and friendships. Participating students can teach, conduct research, and join other honors students at social events and in living-learning communities.
Admission to the Honors Program
There is no application for admission to the Honors Program. Qualified students are notified upon admission to the university (or shortly after being admitted) if accepted into the program. There is also an individual review process for students who don't meet the criteria but request membership.
The requirements vary depending on whether you are a first-year, transfer, or international student.
