The
University of Iowa Honors Program is a small community of outstanding students within the
larger University setting. About 15 percent of the incoming class is admitted
to the program each year.

Membership in the University of Iowa Honors Program confers a broad variety
of benefits, both inside and outside the classroom, including access
to:
- Early
admission programs in Business and
Nursing,
colleges that typically admit only sophomores or juniors.
- Academic
Opportunities that will enrich your experience as a student,
a researcher, and an instructor.
- Learning
communities where you can live on the same floor of a residence
hall with other honors students, including the Honors
Living-Learning Community.

Honors Center, which has its own library, computer lab, and
study spaces.
