Men in Engineering
Learn how to juggle being a good student with playing sports, volunteering, and taking leadership roles in student organizations. This community includes new students as well as returning engineering students, so you can help each other with various subjects.

Students who choose to live in the Men in Engineering community aren’t the type to sit in their rooms and study all day. They’re the guys who can juggle being good students with playing sports, volunteering, taking leadership roles in student organizations, and having fun.

Your floormates will include new students as well as returning engineering students who can be of great help to you as you get started in your engineering career—and learn to balance course work and play. Since everyone has different skills, you’ll be able to help others on your floor with some subjects while they help you with others—a benefit for everyone in the community.

When it's time to take a break, you'll have friends nearby to organize a pickup basketball game, hold a video game tournament, or take in a movie.

New and current male engineering students are eligible and encouraged to apply early.

Benefits include:

  • Course-related study groups
  • Engineering-related programming
  • Developing lifelong friends
  • Faculty interactions
