Honors Nexus
Honors students use faculty mentors and facilities in Mayflower Hall to plan individual and team projects in research, service, or art. (Mayflower stays open over breaks, when most other residence halls close.) These honors students engage many majors and extracurricular interests.
You can take part in events just for the Nexus, and you can choose from many small honors courses with top teachers. You also can enjoy access to talks with other honors students on opportunities for research, internships, scholarships, service learning, writing, and more.
Activities include:
- Personal and team projects in art, research, or service
- Discussions with leading faculty members
- Talks with premier performers
- Luncheons with world leaders
- Workshops on scholarships, research opportunities, and University resources
- Teams for mock trial, intramural sports, and more
- Free performing arts and cultural events
