Summer To-Do List
Completing this important paperwork before you arrive will reduce the hassles and inconveniences you'll face if you don't.
- Report your Health Insurance Status through your Admissions Profile on ISIS by July 31.
- All new undergraduates enrolled for 5 or more semester hours must have health insurance coverage for the entire time they are students at Iowa.
- Complete the nformd.net sexual assault prevention course by August 1. This required course is accessible online through ICON (the Iowa Courses Online Network).
- Make sure your high school transcripts reach the Office of Admissions by August 3.
- Complete Part I of AlcoholEdu between July 27 and August 21. This required alcohol-awareness course is accessible online through ICON (the Iowa Courses Online Network).
- Send proof of Required Vaccinations to Student Health via the Medical History Form.* You'll need to submit this before you can register for Spring Semester classes.
- All students need proof of two MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccinations.
- International students also need proof of a tuberculosis (TB) skin test.
- Health science majors should review any additional immunizations that may be required by their college or department.
- Review Campus Parking & Transportation information, including how often Cambus stops at your residence hall, and register your vehicle in MyUIowa on ISIS if you plan to bring a vehicle to campus.

- Research more than 500 opportunities to get involved during your first semester: join a club, academic group, or intramural sports team, or consider working or volunteering.
- Select at least one activity by October 1.
