Revised Orientation Program for First-Year Students
Due to flooding on parts of campus, all previously scheduled two-day Orientation programs for first-year students will be one-day programs, instead. In addition, program check-in has been moved from the Iowa Memorial Union to the lobby of Burge Residence Hall.
Tentative student agenda
Check-in for our one-day programs begins at 8:15 a.m., but there is an informational meeting for students eligible for the Honors program beginning at 8 a.m.
Students who miss any of the schedule-building sessions will not be allowed to register for classes in the afternoon. Our Orientation Student Advisors will facilitate small-group activities.
A more detailed program agenda will be distributed at check-in.
