Welcome to Iowa!
You may have a lot of questions now that you have been admitted to Iowa. Orientation, which is required for all incoming Iowa students, is where you will get the answers. It is where new students register for their first semester of classes, meet their academic advisor, and learn about many helpful campus resources.

Orientation reservation process
You will make your Orientation reservation after you have been admitted and paid the $235 Acceptance Fee ($250 effective Summer Session 2010). Program features and dates will depend on the type of student you are:

First-Year Students
Transfer Students
International Students

Bring your parents
An orientation program designed specifically for parents and guardians is offered at the same time as the student program. Students will have multiple opportunities to touch base with their parents throughout the day.
