Welcome to Iowa!
You may have a lot of questions now that you have been admitted to Iowa. Orientation, which is required for all incoming Iowa students, is where you will find answers. It is where new students register for their first semester of classes, meet their academic advisor, and learn about many other helpful campus resources.

Orientation reservation process
You will make your Orientation reservation after you have been admitted and paid your $185 acceptance fee. Program features and dates will vary depending on the type of student you are.

Bring your parents
Information sessions for parents and guardians are offered at the same time as student sessions. Students will have multiple opportunities to touch base with their parents throughout the day.
