Orientation for Students in F-1 or J-1 Status
International
students in F-1 and J-1 status (and those
who plan to be) are
required to attend two orientation
programs:
- Orientation through OISS
(Office of International Students and Scholars)
and
- Orientation/Registration through the Office of Admissions—You will register for classes and learn more about campus resources during this one-day program organized by Orientation Services in the UI Office of Admissions.
- Find this date on your Admissions Profile—The date of your orientation/registration program through Orientation Services in the Office of Admissions will appear in your Admissions Profile on ISIS after you have accepted admission and paid your acceptance fee. You will also be reminded of this program date when you report to OISS.
