nternational students who are in F-1 or J-1 status (or who plan to be) are required to attend a week-long orientation program hosted by the University's Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS), in addition to the Academic Orientation/Registration program hosted by Orientation Services.

Students who arrive after OISS Orientation begins will likely experience delays and inconvenience related to many matters, including housing, reporting to the OISS, and registering for classes. Note that students are responsible for paying their own living expenses throughout the period of the Orientation program.
