Transfer Student Orientation for Fall
Transfer
students who will begin their studies in the fall will attend a one-day Orientation program.

Admitted students who have paid their $185 acceptance fee will register online through their Admissions Profile on ISIS. After making your reservation, return to this page for important details about preparing for your visit.

Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m., but an optional session about the University of Iowa Honors Program will be offered to eligible students at 8 a.m.

Placement tests can be a helpful advising tool for transfer students who still need to complete certain course requirements. Complete the appropriate online placement tests at least 14 days before attending Orientation.

Get ready for Welcome Week
Fall 2008 classes will begin Monday, Aug. 25. Once you are settled into your residence hall room or apartment, plan to attend Welcome Week activities designed to further introduce you to campus (and other new students!).
