Transfer students who will begin their studies in the spring attend a one-day Orientation program.

Admitted students who have paid their $235 acceptance fee will make a program reservation online through their Admissions Profile on ISIS. After making your reservation, return to this page for important details about preparing for your visit.

Check-in begins at 8:15 a.m., but an optional session about the University of Iowa Honors Program will be offered to eligible students at 8 a.m.

Preparing for Orientation
Placement tests can be a helpful advising tool for transfer students who still need to complete certain course requirements. Complete the appropriate online placement tests at least 14 days before your scheduled Orientation program.
