Transfer Student Orientation for Summer
Transfer students who will begin their studies in the summer attend a one-day Orientation program.

Planning your visit
Check-in begins at 8:15 a.m., but an optional session about the University of Iowa Honors Program will be offered to eligible students at 8 a.m.

Admitted students who have paid their $235 acceptance fee will register for Orientation online through their Admissions Profile on ISIS. After making your reservation, return to this page for important details about preparing for your visit.

Placement tests can be a helpful advising tool for transfer students who still need to complete certain course requirements. Complete the appropriate online placement tests at least 14 days before your scheduled Orientation program.
