The Admission Index Score will be used to determine admission for students entering the University before fall 2009. First-year students planning to begin their studies in the UI College of Liberal Arts and Sciences in fall 2009 and later will be admitted based on their Regent Admission Index score.

Admission Index Score
To compute your Admission Index Score, double your ACT composite score and add it to your high school percentile rank.

Admission Index = (ACT Score x 2) + Percentile Rank

Convert your SAT score
If you took the SAT instead of the ACT, this table shows how the University will convert your SAT score in order to apply it to the university's Admission Index formula.
