


Admission Requirements for First-Year Students Most first-year students enroll in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences or the College of Engineering. The Tippie College of Business admits highly qualified first-year students through its Direct Admission Program. The college admits all other students upon satisfactory completion of one to four semesters of pre-business study in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. If you are interested in this major but don't qualify for Direct Admission, apply to the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. The College of Nursing admits highly qualified first-year students through its Early Decision Program. Students who aren't admitted through the Early Decision Program enroll in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, then apply for competitive admission to nursing. The colleges of Education and Pharmacy admit qualified applicants at the beginning of their sophomore or junior years. First-year students interested in pharmacy or education apply to the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. The College of Medicine has undergraduate programs in Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Radiation Sciences, or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
