Admission requirements will depend on whether you are transferring from a college in the United States or Transferring from a College Outside the United States.

in the United States, admission requirements will depend on the UI college to which you plan to apply:

Application process
International students are encouraged to apply well in advance of their anticipated enrollment date. We accept applications up to one year in advance of the session for which you intend to enroll.

Transferring credit
Courses completed at colleges and universities accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, or similar regional associations, are acceptable for transfer to The University of Iowa.
