If you are thinking of transferring to The University of Iowa, you are in good company. Each year, about 2,000 undergraduate students transfer here from other colleges or universities. Some come for the strength of a particular academic program. Others come for the vibrant campus life and comfortable atmosphere.

Whatever your reasons, you'll find the resources of a major research university with the welcoming atmosphere of a small college. We're the smallest of the public Big Ten universities, so while our professors include some of the leading experts in their fields, they still have time for individual teaching.
