Campus Visit Options for First-Year Students
Your
best way to make an informed college choice is to visit campus.
So we make it easy for you to see our facilities, talk
to the people who can answer your questions, and tour the spaces where
you
might live, eat, play, and study.
We offer a variety of visit types:
Daily Campus Visits—We arrange a visit
to fit your schedule and focus on your interests. We
suggest you visit when classes are in session—even during the summer months—so you can check out
the residence
halls, classes, and academic departments.
Hawkeye Visit Days—University staff and student volunteers
will guide you through a full day of activities. These special events typically attract more than 700 prospective students and parents.
Business Preview Day—In addition to learning about UI's business program during a Weekday Visit or Hawkeye Visit Day, high school students interested in business can register to attend a spring or fall Business Preview Day. The Feb. 27, 2012, Preview Day is currently full. To be placed on a waiting list, contact the Tippie College of Business Undergraduate Program Office at 319-335-1037.
