Best times to visit
We recommend visiting when classes are in session, even during the summer. Visit activities are limited when classes are not in session, and on Saturday mornings in the fall and spring when the visitors center is open (Registrar's Academic Calendar).
Where is our visitors center?
The Admission Visitors
Center is located in the Pomerantz Center, at the corner of Market Street and the T. Anne Cleary Walkway. It is open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, except on University holidays (Registrar's Academic Calendar).
How
to get here
Iowa City is served by the Eastern Iowa Airport in Cedar Rapids (CID), which
is about a 20-minute drive from campus, and the Quad City International Airport (MLI), a 60-minute drive from campus. Please confirm your campus visit with our office before making travel arrangements.
