Arrange
your visit
Call us at least two weeks in advance to schedule your visit. You
can reach us toll-free at 800-553-IOWA (4692) or direct
dial 319-335-1569 or 319-335-1566. The Admission Visitors
Center, located in the Pomerantz Center, is open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, except on University holidays. Visit activities are limited during academic breaks when classes are not in session, and on those Saturday mornings in the fall and spring when we are open.
Reservations are required and space is limited. Call the office for dates and details. If you would prefer to attend a larger event on campus for students considering Iowa, check out our Hawkeye Visit Days on select Mondays and Fridays in the fall and spring semesters.
How
to get here
Iowa City is served by the Eastern Iowa Airport in Cedar Rapids (CID), which
is about a 20-minute drive from campus, and the Quad Cities (MLI), a 60-minute drive from campus. Please confirm your campus visit with our office before making travel arrangements.
