• Internship advising. Iowa advisors can connect you with prestigious internships in every field and help you find cooperative education opportunities to apply what you've learned in class to a supervised work situation.
• Placement offices. Iowa's Pomerantz Career Center has many programs to help students plan for life after graduation, and the Iowa Career Exploration Network connects students with working professionals for networking and employment advice. Our placement offices also offer résumé-writing assistance, online job-search technology, and on-campus recruiting visits.
• Hands-on health care experience. The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, one of the top teaching hospitals in the country, offers students ways to gain experience through volunteering, part-time employment, and research.
