    • I am a member of the Council on Disability Awareness. I hope to be a liaison between Center for Diversity & Enrichment and the Council for Disability Awareness.

    • Multicultural Specialist at the Center for Diversity & Enrichment

  4. What is your disability or condition, if any, if you are comfortable sharing?
    • Dyslexia

    • M.S. Ed in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education, University of Wisconsin—La Crosse
  1. What advice would you give to a colleague on campus who has a (DIS)ability?
    • Be open and honest about what you need from your working environment, because often the best advocate for yourself is you. 

  2. What advice would you give to a student on campus who has a (DIS)ability?
    • Asking for an accommodation is not a weakness. If you have a documented disability or suspect you have a disability, seek out assistance!

  3. Where is your favorite place to eat in town?
    • Brix Cheese Shop & Wine Bar. They have wonderful sandwiches and soups.

  4. What is your favorite activity to do at UI?
    • Graduation Receptions get me a little teary eyed to see students go, but it is a great time to celebrate our students' hard-work and accomplishments.

  5. What best disability-related practices or changes do you recommend to better our campus?
    • One inclusive practice I would recommend for our campus is to provide captioning on all film screenings.
