WelcomeThe UI Chicago Center opened in the heart of the Loop in December 2006 to provide Chicagoland residents with first-hand information about the many educational and career opportunities available at The University of Iowa. Roughly a third of the UI student body comes from Chicago and its suburbs and more than half the UI's minority student applicants. For current students and alumni, Chicagoland's many employers offer rich opportunities for internships and beginning careers. For the large concentration of UI alumni who have already established their careers but are interested in returning home, the Center will host the Consider Iowa initiative to foster connections with Iowa employers. LocationThe Chicago Center is located in Suite 2700, on the 27th floor of the Smurfit-Stone Building at 150 North Michigan Avenue, across the street from Millennium Park and the Chicago Cultural Center.
