Report Cards
In
response to the University's strategic plans in the 1990s, the Council
published annual report cards that scored the University in areas that
related to women: campus climate, salary equity, recruitment and retention,
sexual harassment, and overall leadership. These reports cards were to
"acknowledge the University's progress and to encourage the University
administration to consider other strategic approaches." Other Big 10
institutions liked the report card format and published their own.
All report cards are in PDF format.
CSW is planning to write a 2007--08 report card using recommendations in existing reports, including the Iowa Promise to evaluate the UI in areas of overall leadership, sexual harassment report), diversity (report), gender equity (report to Provost and Working at Iowa report), and salary equity (report).
