A student employee (Work-Study or otherwise) is a part-time hourly employee (twenty work hours per week or less) who is enrolled and regularly attending classes at The University of Iowa and whose primary purpose for being at the University is to further his or her education. Such employment, therefore, is temporary and incidental to the pursuit of an education. |
Jobnet is the University's on-line job advertisement system for student employees.
University departments and off-campus employers within a 30-mile radius of Iowa City may post part-time, hourly jobs on Jobnet. Only University departments and approved off-campus agencies may post Work-Study positions. All job qualifications must be in accordance with the University of Iowa Non-Discrimination Policy.
Please contact the Office of Student Employment (335-1460) for your user ID and password. You will need this information to access the job entry forms and to enter job information.
To remove a job from the Jobnet system, call Student Employment at 335-1460 or e-mail student-employment@ uiowa.edu. Please reference the job number.
