Information for Community Employers
Community employers may hire University students under their own payroll and the University will advertise these jobs on Jobnet. These community job opportunities are very important to students as they seek to maximize educational resources and minimize loan indebtedness.
Advertise, update, or renew job listings on Jobnet - Job opportunities advertised on Jobnet must be part-time (20 hours per week or less) and paid by the hour. Full-time and salary or commission jobs are not advertised on Jobnet. Exception: Jobs that are full-time for the summer only will be posted during the summer posting period. The employer's geographic location and the job location must be within 30 miles of Iowa City.
