Advertise, View, and Update Listings on Jobnet
Jobnet is the University’s on-line advertisement system for all employment, including student employment. Community employers can also utilize this site to advertise part-time jobs that are for 20 hours or less per week. Community employers must be approved by the Office of Student Financial Aid to post Work-Study jobs. All job qualifications must be in accordance with the University of Iowa Non-Discrimination Statement.
Currently the Jobnet Vacancy Form does not provide a space for the employer's email address. You may want to include your email address in the duties or qualifications area of the form. By providing your email address, you will allow both students and the Student Employment staff quick access to your email address.
To post, update, or renew job advertisements, employers must enter the following user name and password:
User Name: jobnet_employer
- View job listings on Jobnet
- Add a job to Jobnet (a telephone number must be provided for the job to be posted on Jobnet)
- Update or renew a job previously posted on Jobnet
Jobs are reviewed by student employment staff before they are accessible for student viewing. This review/approval process may take one to two business days. Jobnet is not updated over the weekend.
To remove a job from Jobnet, contact the Student Employment Office and reference the job number.
