Student must register for at least one semester hour at The University of Iowa.
Rate of Pay
Iowa minimum wage is $7.25 effective January 1, 2008. Wage rates are established by the employer and are based on job responsibilities.
Work Schedule
During the academic year, students are restricted to a maximum of 20 hours per week
based on State of Iowa law. (Exception: Thanksgiving break, winter break, and spring break students may work up to 40 hours per week.) During the summer, students may work up to
40 hours per week. |
