UI Flood Relief Fund Application

Funds are available to help current students, staff and faculty with flood-related losses. These funds are supported by contributions to the UI Foundation’s Flood Relief Fund (http://www.givetoiowa.org/floodfund).

If you are a staff or faculty member and would like to request assistance for flood-related damages, please contact Jane Holland at jane-holland@uiowa.edu or 335-1371.

Once you have completed the request, a University representative will contact you to discuss your needs and what options are available to you.

If you are a student, the University of Iowa Office of Student Financial Aid is responding to the emergency and short-term needs of students negatively impacted by the flood of 2008 with a combination of existing UI short-term loan funds and grants supported through the UI Flood Relief Fund.

All students requesting special consideration for support will need to see a UI financial aid counselor. Counselors are available on a walk-in basis at 208 Calvin Hall between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information, call 319/335-1450.
