UI Flood Relief
For those wishing to support the University as it struggles to recover from flood-related damage not covered by insurance or other resources, we encourage contributions to the UI Flood Relief Fund. Gifts of all sizes are needed and appreciated, and the first priority is to assist UI students and employees who have been displaced from their homes by flooding. After addressing these most immediate human concerns, contributions to the fund will be used at UI President Sally Mason's discretion to meet other areas of flood-related need throughout the campus.
UI Employees Can Donate Vacation Hours to a Flood Relief Pool
The University has created an opportunity for eligible employees to donate vacation hours to UI employees whose primary residences were damaged by flooding and who need time off to recover. By virtue of agreement with AFSCME and SEIU, employees represented by those entities are also eligible for participation. To learn how to particlpate, see this page.
