PAUL MONTAGUE
Years ago, a bad accident left Paul Montague laid up for months, with a piece of glass stuck in his eye. During his recovery, his doctor mentioned that people could make a living taking pictures of the back of the eye. From that suggestion came Montague's career, which has helped eye disease research at The University of Iowa for three-plus decades.
