Search Results
- If there is a single match, a detailed entry will be returned.
-
If there are multiple matches, a summary table will be returned. Click
"details" for the detailed entry for the selected person.
-
If no other criteria are present, a departmental/organizational search
will result in a phone list format that can be copied to common office
tools (e.g., Word, Excel) for sorting and further formatting. Please
note: this function has been temporarily disabled.
Search Hints
- Name order is important in the simple search: first-name last-name or last name only.
- Do not include punctuation, such as a comma, in the search box.
- Nicknames are
not included in the directory at this time. If the person uses their
nickname as their e-mail address, a search of nickname-lastname in
the E-mail Alias field might be successful.
- If you know only some characters of a name, you may use the
wildcard character '*' to complete the search parameter. E.g., 'Chris*'
will match any name starting with 'Chris' such as Christopher, Christian,
Christine, Christina. Nicknames are
not included in the directory at this time.
- You may search on any field or combination of fields. The
wildcard character "*" may be used in any field
- Searching by department or org code results in a phone list
format that can be copied to common office tools for sorting and
further formatting
Please note: this function has been temporarily disabled.
Comparison with Ph Searches
- Only given names are included in the directory at this time. Ph held many
nicknames, but that information is not included in the LDAP white pages at
this time.
- The Ph name search order was not specific. The LDAP white pages search
allows you to specify the first (given) name and last name fields.
- Ph had been extended to include "special Ph" entries for departments and
organizations that requested them. Those addresses are not available in the
LDAP white pages at this time.
