Updating Faculty and Staff Listings
Click on the "Personal" tab at the top of the page. Then select "Name/Address/Phone Change" in the "Name, Address & Hawk Alert" section.
Directory information that can be changed here includes:
- Campus Address
- Campus Phone
- Home address and phone
- E-mail routing address (For more information, see the ITS site.)
Employee home addresses and phone numbers are restricted by default from publication on the University’s web directory and in the University’s hard copy directory. If you wish, you have the option unrestrict this information. To do that, follow the directions below.
Some people prefer not to list their home address, phone and other information in the directory. To make such a request, use the “Restrictions” pull-down menu bar directly above the effective date window at the bottom of the HR Self Service Site change of address screen.
Changes made on the HR Self Service Site will be reflected within 24 hours in the online directory. Your contact information as it appears in the online directory in late September will be used for the next edition of the University of Iowa Student, Faculty, and Staff Directory (the "Herdbook") due out in November.
