Updating Student Listings
Students may update directory information on ISIS http://isis.uiowa.edu/ (Your Hawk ID and password are required). Here you can change:
- Residing Address (Your address in Iowa City or environs)
- Permanent address
- Parent or guardian address
- Phone number
- E-mail routing address (For more information, see the ITS site.)
Directory changes made on ISIS are recorded overnight Monday-Friday. The new information should appear in the online directory on the morning of the following business day. (So, for example, if you make a change on Saturday, it will appear online on Tuesday morning.)
The information in ISIS as it appears in late September will be used for the next edition of the printed University of Iowa Student, Faculty, and Staff Directory (the "Herdbook") due out in November.
Restricting information: If you would prefer that your home address and phone number NOT appear in the printed phone book (the Herdbook) and the online directory, select the appropriate restriction option in ISIS.
Name changes
Students need to record name changes with the Registration Center. A Request for Change of Name Form (pdf) is available for download online. Send this form along with requested documentation to the address indicated on the form.
