Disability Resource Library
A program of the Center for Disabilities and Development, the Disability Resource
Library is a full-service statewide lending library that focuses on disability
information. Books,
videos, and
training curricula are available for check-out; a reference librarian conducts
research and referrals free of charge. Individuals with disabilities, their
families, service providers and staff of The University of Iowa may borrow
materials at little or no charge. Patrons outside Iowa City can have materials
shipped to them via UPS. The library's software/hardware lending library gives
patrons the opportunity to try out portable assistive technology in their homes.
