Iowa Lakeside Laboratory

Since 1909, Iowa Lakeside Laboratory has been offering summer courses at its campus on the shores of West Lake Okoboji in northwest Iowa. Credit for these courses can be obtained through The University of Iowa, Iowa State University, and the University of Northern Iowa, and the three universities operate Lakeside Laboratory on a rotating basis. Lakeside also offers three kinds of programs for the general public each summer: Wild Wednesdays, Sunday Night Seminars, and Guided Nature Tours.
