The Iowa Program for Assistive Technology (IPAT), a program of the Center for Disabilities and Development, is Iowa's grant project under the Assistive Technology Act of 1998 as amended. The program's goal is to improve statewide access and acquisition of assistive technology. IPAT supports information and referral about AT devices and services, recycling of devices, equipment loan and demonstration.
