By immersing high school students in the writing life, the Iowa Young Writers' Studio provides an opportunity for aspiring writers to explore their interest in writing, challenge their imagination, and learn the fundamentals of their craft. The residential summer program for high school students lasts for two weeks in June and July, offering courses in fiction, poetry, and more.
